Tour the Tribunal

The building where Tribunal is located photographed from the outside.

The Tribunal is located at Robson and Seymour Streets in downtown Vancouver, on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish people. Our street address is 605 Robson.

The Tribunal’s facility located on the 12th floor is open to the public from 8:30 to 4:30. Come here to make inquires or attend a settlement meeting or a hearing. Our proceedings are also held at locations throughout BC. Settlement meetings can involve round the table discussions facilitated by one of our mediators.

Settlement meeting. Mediator and parties are sitting at the same table and discussing their case.

Those attending a settlement meeting can meet privately to discuss their case in a break out room.

Settlement meeting. Two people are sitting at the same table in a private room and discussing their case.

Sometimes parties choose not to sit in the same room, preferring instead to have the mediator move back and forth during negotiations.

Hearing. Parties and a Tribunal member are in a hearing room sitting at a large table, discussing their case.

The tribunal member sits at the front of the hearing room.  In this hearing, the complainant and respondent face each other and are sitting beside their representative.  At the far end of the room opposite the tribunal member, there is a place for a witness to testify.
