  • Request for qualification for mediators is posted on BC Bid

    Interested Vendors are invited to submit a Response to this RFQ for the opportunity to be evaluated for eligibility to be added to the BC Human Rights Tribunal’s list of Qualified Suppliers to provide mediation services.

    A secure drop box is located outside the door under the Tribunal sign if you wish to drop off documents on the 27th or 31st of December during business hours.


  • Revised policies, rules, and new forms

    Today, the Tribunal issued a revised Accommodation Policy and Form 10 – Accommodation Request, including to clarify when to use a Form 10.

    The Tribunal changed one aspect of its Mediation Policy regarding support persons.

    The Tribunal issued its Participant Access to Complaint Record Policy and a new form under the new policy:

    The Tribunal has revised its Public & Media Access Policy and has issued a new form under the revised policy:

    The Tribunal has revised its Complaint Process Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Public & Media Access Policy about access to the complaint file.

    The Tribunal has revised its Freedom of Information Request Policy to require a new form for making a freedom of information request:

    The Tribunal has issued a new form for the change or withdrawal of a representative:

    The Tribunal has revised its Rules of Practice and Procedure:

    • Rule 5(8): Public access to complaint file is restricted
    • Rule 5(9)-(11): Public access to complaint file restricted [repealed]
    • Rule 7(3): Change or withdrawal of representative
    • Rule 14(6): Mediation Policy
    • Rule 18(3): Time limit to respond to complaint
    • Rule 18(4)-(5): Repealed
    • Rules 18(6)-(10): Renumbered
    • Rule 19: Numbering error corrected
